The Summer Festival 2011

At the Stadium of Light promises to provide summer fun for all the family. The giant funfair is open every day from 30th June to 10th July. Entry price to the funfair is £2 per person, with all rides priced at £2.

Sunderland’s biggest ever funfair rolls in to Wearside from Thursday 30th June until Sunday 10th July, bringing many new attractions to this popular family event. Bring the kiddies along and meet Peppa Pig who comes to the Stadium of Light with Metro Radio on Saturday 2nd July and Fireman Sam who joins us on Saturday 9th July.

There is a live music festival on 8th and 9th with local bands playing throughout the evening. The Variety Club of Great Britain are bringing 1000 children for a free afternoon of fun from 4pm until 6pm on Thursday 30th June, and SAFC launch their new away kit during the event giving fans the opportunity to access the funfair for free and get £12 worth of discount ride vouchers with every new kit purchase.

There are two Nissan Tsunami fundraising events on Friday 1st and Sunday 10th July, in support of the British Red Cross Tsunami Appeal so come along, have some fun and help a great cause.
